AXA PPP launches telephone support service for new parents

Members can arrange call back from nurse or midwife

AXA PPP healthcare has introduced a telephone call back service to provide new parents with information and support from a nurse or midwife.

The service is available to members with an individual health insurance policy who have an infant up to the age of one, and will be offered to them when they get in touch with the provider to add the child to their policy.

If members wish to use the service, AXA PPP will arrange for a personal call back from one of its midwives or nurses to discuss any questions they may have regarding their child’s or their own health and wellbeing.

Sonia Wolsey-Cooper, membership and people director at AXA PPP healthcare, said: “I am confident that our call back service will provide welcome support for families as they deal with the many challenges that come with parenthood.”

The call back service is provided by AXA PPP’s Health at Hand health information service, which gives members 24/7 access to telephone support from a team of nurses, midwives, pharmacists and counsellors.
