New recruit to spearhead 'mutli-million pound' investment programme at Aspen's Claremont Hospital
Aspen Healthcare has appointed a new director to run the Claremont Hospital, the private hospital it acquired in January of this year.
Davey, who was previously ran Nuffield Health's Leicester Hospital, will lead a growth strategy at the 44-bed Sandygate Road facility.
A spokesman said that Aspen, which has already acquired the neighbouring Highbury Convent, has invested in a range of new medical and surgical equipment and is currently planning the upgrade of one of the hospital’s theatres.
In addition, the hospital has just been admitted to the AXA PPP network and can now treat all insured and self-pay patients, the spokesman said.
Aspen owns and operates three other private acute hospitals, a cancer centre and clinics in Solihull and Edinburgh.
