Ross Ainslie leaves after 10 years with businesses
Ross Ainslie, the managing director of Royal London's protection businesses, Scottish Provident and Bright Grey, is stepping down from the role.
Royal London said that Ainslie has decided to return to further education and will be leaving in August to start studying for an MSc degree in September.
As a founding member of the executive team which helped create Bright Grey, Ainslie joined Royal London in 2002. In 2008 he was appointed as managing director and following the acquisition of Scottish Provident has led both brands since 2009.
An internal successor is expected to be appointed in the coming weeks.
