Appointments made following sale of corporate consulting business to Capita
AXA has confirmed the new management team to lead national IFA Bluefin Personal Consulting following the sale of its corporate consulting business to Capita.
Graham Harvey, formerly of AXA Life, has been appointed to the role of managing director of Bluefin Personal Consulting and will be supported by Simon Hellier, who has been with Bluefin Personal Consulting for around a year, as deputy managing director.
Phillip Anderson, meanwhile, has been appointed finance and risk director for Bluefin Personal Consulting.
Earlier this month, AXA confirmed that it is selling Bluefin Corporate Consulting for a cash consideration of £50m on a cash-free, debt-free basis to Capita, although the insurer would retain the Bluefin trading name.
Bluefin’s other operations, including Bluefin Insurance Group and Bluefin Personal Consulting, which provides wealth management services, are not part of the transaction.
Nick Burns, former chief executive of Bluefin Corporate Consulting, is to become chief executive of Capita Hartshead, the new combined business.
